Immunizations

VaxCare will provide the vaccine to Nurturing Pediatrics and bill your health insurance.  If your child does not have insurance or has Medicaid, vaccines will be paid for through the Vaccines for Children program.

Nurturing Pediatrics is happy to discuss your questions or concerns about vaccines AND requires that children be immunized to North Carolina school requirements to remain a patient in this practice (children with medical exemptions are an exception).

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has great and easy-to-understand articles about the recommended vaccine schedules (shown below), altered vaccine schedules, information about all the diseases for which we have vaccines, vaccine ingredients and why they are there, and so much more!
